TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of service

Last updated 19 October 2026 · terms version 2026-10-19

These terms are an agreement between you and Konig Group SA, place des Alpes 2, 1201 Genève, Switzerland, which operates Pixo Studio ("Pixo", "we"). By creating an account or using Pixo Studio you accept them.

1. What Pixo does

Pixo creates product photographs with artificial intelligence from photos and details you provide. Results are generated by an image model; they can differ from your real product and from one another.

2. Who can use Pixo

  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
  • You can use Pixo for your business ("business user") or as a private person ("consumer"). Some rules below differ between the two; where they do, we say so.

3. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • A new account gets free tokens to try Pixo (the number is shown when you sign up), once per person. Creating extra accounts to collect them again is not allowed, and free tokens collected that way can be removed. On a very busy day the free tokens may arrive the next day; we tell you when that happens.

4. What you upload

  • You keep all rights to your product photos, logos, descriptions and your selfie.
  • You confirm you have the right to upload them, and that they don't infringe anyone's rights.
  • Brands on your products. You confirm that every brand name, logo, label, packaging design and artwork visible in your uploads is yours, or that you are authorised to use it (for example as the brand owner or a reseller of genuine goods). We ask you to confirm this when you add a product or a logo, and we keep a record of that confirmation with the date and the version of these terms.
  • Faces. The "Your own face" option is for your own face only. Don't upload photos of other people's faces.
  • You give us a limited licence to store and process your uploads only to provide the service to you. We do not use your uploads or results to train AI models.

5. Your results

  • Subject to these terms and to paying for them, you may use the photos you create for any lawful purpose, including commercially.
  • AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright in every country, and similar images may be created for other users. We don't promise exclusivity.
  • Check every photo before you publish it. You are responsible for how you use it, including that it shows your product accurately to your customers and that you say it is AI-generated where the law or a marketplace requires it — in particular when a photo shows your own face.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Pixo to create images that are illegal, sexual, hateful or violent, that show real people other than yourself, or that copy someone else's brand, artwork or likeness. In particular, don't use Pixo for:

  • counterfeit goods, replicas or "inspired by" copies of branded products;
  • products or brands you are not authorised to sell or advertise;
  • images that suggest a brand, person or organisation endorses you when they don't;
  • images that misrepresent a product to buyers.

If you break these rules we may refuse a shoot, remove the content, decline quality refunds for it, or suspend the account. Brand owners can report misuse as described in Brands & takedown.

7. Tokens, storage and payment

Tokens, refunds and your right of withdrawal are explained in Tokens, refunds & withdrawal; storage limits and optional storage plans in Storage & plans, which is part of these terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Pixo available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change features; if we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app, and you can close your account before the change applies.

9. Liability

  • Consumers: we are liable as provided by the law that applies to you. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
  • Business users: to the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and you cover our reasonable costs of third-party claims that arise because something you uploaded, or the way you used a result, infringed someone else's rights.
  • For everyone: we never limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or for injury to life or health.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in your account settings ("Delete account"). We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms (see Repeat infringement). If we close your account and you are a consumer, we refund the tokens you bought and haven't used, unless the account was used for fraud (for example chargebacks or extra accounts to collect free tokens). Free tokens have no cash value.

11. Law and courts

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts of Geneva, Switzerland, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live; you may also bring a claim before the courts where you live, and we can only bring a claim against you there. EU consumers can also use their national consumer advice centres.

Where your data is and who helps us

Your account and Library are stored in the EU: database in Frankfurt (Supabase), files in Cloudflare R2 (EU), our servers in Frankfurt (Fly.io). We use these service providers, under contract and only to run Pixo:

  • OpenAI (USA) — creates the images and identifies products from your photos; receives your photos, logos, selfie (if chosen) and the instructions.
  • Anthropic (USA) — answers the Pixo chat; receives your message and the step you're on.
  • Cloudflare — website and file storage; Fly.io — servers; Supabase — database and sign-in.
  • Stripe — payments; Resend — emails about your account and shoots; Google — our company email (when you write to us), "Sign in with Google" and the page font.

Data goes to countries in the EU/EEA and to the USA. For the USA we rely on the EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Frameworks, or on standard contractual clauses where a provider isn't certified. We never sell your data and don't use it for advertising.

Who at Pixo can see your data

Only the people who run Pixo for Konig Group SA, and only as far as their task needs. Support and refund reviews use an admin view. Our bookkeeping runs on the company's own computer with read-only access to purchases, token movements and refund requests (without the reasons or note you write) — used only for accounting, VAT and refund checks.

Emails

We send the emails you need to use Pixo to your account address: sign-in, welcome, "your photos are ready", receipts, refund decisions, payment problems and important changes to these terms. Tips and offers — for example a reminder that your free photos are waiting, a bonus that is ending, or a customer story — are sent only if you said yes to them. Each one has an unsubscribe link that works in one click, without signing in, and you can also switch them off in your account. Unsubscribing stops all tips and offers, not the service emails.

AI and your data

Your uploads and the instructions for each photo are sent to the image provider only to create your photos. We do not use them to train AI models, and the provider's business terms don't allow it to train on them either. The provider may keep them for up to 30 days to detect abuse. With each request we send a one-way code instead of your email, so misuse can be traced to one account. No decision with legal effect is taken automatically: refund requests are decided by a person.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent (for example for your selfie) and object to processing. "Download my data" and "Delete account" are in your account menu; for anything else write to privacy@pixostudio.ai. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to the data protection authority where you live.

TOKENS, REFUNDS & WITHDRAWAL

Tokens, refunds and withdrawal

Tokens

  • One token pays for one finished photo. Branding a photo with your logo costs one more. Each extra product in a set adds one per photo.
  • You see the exact cost before every shoot. Tokens are reserved when the shoot starts and only spent for photos you receive: failed or missing photos are refunded automatically.
  • Tokens are bought as one-off packs or an exact amount — no subscription. Bought tokens don't expire while your account is open. Free tokens have no cash value.
  • Prices are shown in your currency (CHF, EUR, USD or GBP). The price you see is the price you pay; it includes VAT where we charge it. For customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein it includes Swiss VAT of 8.1% (VAT no. CHE-115.133.277 TVA).

Free tokens and offers

  • Free tokens (on sign-up or in an offer) are spent like bought tokens, once per person. They have no cash value and can't be refunded, sold or moved to another account. We may change the free offer for new accounts.
  • Early-access codes. If you received an early-access tester code, it gives free promotional tokens once per person (the number is shown when you redeem it). Like other free tokens, they have no cash value and can't be refunded, sold or moved. Feedback you give us as a tester may be used to improve Pixo; we only quote you publicly with your permission.
  • First-purchase bonus. When we show you a bonus for your first purchase (for example +20% tokens within 72 hours of creating your account), it works like this: it applies to the first paid purchase on your account, of any pack or amount; the deadline is the real date and time shown in the app, it is never reset or extended to push you; it counts if you start the payment before the deadline, even if your bank confirms it later; one bonus per person and per payment card — if the card you pay with already received a bonus on another account, the purchase is credited without the bonus and we tell you by email (you can then withdraw from it for a full refund within 14 days). Bonus tokens are added with the purchase and, like bought tokens, don't expire while your account is open.
  • Bonus and refunds. A purchase and its bonus count as one block of tokens. If you withdraw from that purchase or it is refunded, we refund the price of the part of the block you haven't used, and the unused bonus tokens go too. Example: 60 tokens (50 + 10 bonus) for CHF 33.00, 30 used → CHF 16.50 back.

Report a photo that misses

If a finished photo clearly misses (for example the product looks different, or there's an obvious defect), you can report it:

  • within 14 days of the shoot,
  • once per photo, up to 5 requests a month,
  • when the product brief scored 76 or more ("Excellent") when you shot it — the score shows before you shoot.

A person on our team reviews every request. If it's approved, the tokens for that photo go back to your balance. Re-shoots of that photo are paused while the request is open. You can appeal a decision once. These rules don't limit your statutory rights if a photo isn't in line with what we promised.

Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a token purchase within 14 days of the purchase without giving a reason.

  • When you pay, you ask us to add your tokens straight away. Tokens you have already used in those 14 days count as the part of the service already supplied.
  • If you withdraw, we refund the price of the tokens from that purchase you haven't used (in proportion to the price of the pack) to your original payment method, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, and remove those tokens from your balance.
  • To withdraw, send us a clear statement — for example by email to support@pixostudio.ai. You can use this form, but you don't have to:

Withdrawal form

To Konig Group SA, place des Alpes 2, 1201 Genève, Switzerland, support@pixostudio.ai:

I hereby withdraw from my contract for the purchase of the following tokens: ______ · Bought on: ______ · Name: ______ · Email of the Pixo account: ______ · Date: ______ · (Signature, only on paper)

Other refunds of purchases

After the 14 days, purchases are final, except where the law gives you more rights. Business users: unused tokens bought in the last 14 days can also be refunded on request.

STORAGE & PLANS

Photo storage and storage plans

Your Library keeps the finished photos you make. Product photos you upload don't count. Downloading (one photo or a ZIP) is always free.

Free storage

  • Guest: 15 photos, while the guest session lives (30 days without a visit). When you sign up, they move to your account.
  • Free account (never bought tokens): 100 photos. After 12 months without signing in, we email you twice and then delete the account.
  • Customer (bought tokens at least once): 500 photos, as long as the account exists.
  • These limits start on a date we announce in the app and by email at least 30 days in advance.

At the limit

  • We never delete your photos because your Library is full.
  • When your Library is full, a new shoot first asks you to make room (delete photos, after downloading the ones you want to keep) or to choose a plan. Hidden photos still count.
  • A shoot that has already started always delivers its photos, even if that takes you over the limit.

Storage plans (optional)

Tokens stay one-off; a plan only adds storage. Plans: Library Plus 2,000 photos (CHF 3.90 a month), Library Pro 5,000 (CHF 6.90 a month), Library Archive 10,000 (CHF 11.90 a month). Yearly billing costs 10 months' price (2 months free). Prices are shown in your currency before you subscribe, VAT included where we charge it.

  • Renewal: a plan renews automatically for the same period (month or year) until you cancel. Before a yearly plan renews, we email you at least 30 days ahead.
  • Cancelling: any time, with one click in your account (Account › Plan › Cancel plan), without giving a reason. The plan runs until the end of the period you've paid, then stops. We confirm by email.
  • Yearly plans, consumers: after the first year, you can also cancel at any time with one month's notice; we refund the months you've paid and won't use.
  • Withdrawal (consumers): you can withdraw within 14 days of your first payment for a plan. You asked the plan to start straight away, so we refund the price minus the days already used. Use the withdrawal form in Tokens, refunds & withdrawal.
  • Price changes: we tell you at least 30 days before; the new price applies from your next renewal, never in a period you've already paid, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Failed payment: we retry and email you; the plan stays active for 14 days meanwhile.

When a plan ends

  • Nothing is deleted when a plan ends. You keep viewing, downloading, hiding and deleting all your photos.
  • If you're above your free limit, a new shoot first asks you to make room or to choose a plan again.
BRANDS & TAKEDOWN

Brands, trademarks and takedown

Pixo is for sellers photographing their own products. We respect trademarks, copyright, design rights and people's right to their own image, and we act quickly when someone tells us they are being misused.

Resellers of genuine goods

If you resell genuine branded goods, you may show the brand as it appears on the product. Don't add a brand's logo where it isn't on the product, use it as your own logo, or suggest you are an official or authorised partner unless you are.

Report misuse of your brand, work or face

If you believe content made with Pixo infringes your trademark, copyright or other rights, or shows your face without your consent, write to ip@pixostudio.ai with:

  • your name, company and contact details, and whether you act for the rights holder;
  • the right concerned (for example the trademark registration number, the work, or that it is your face);
  • where the content appears (a link, a screenshot or the shop page) and, if you have it, the Pixo image or account involved;
  • why the use is not authorised, and a statement that you believe in good faith that your notice is accurate.

What happens next

  • We confirm we received your notice within 2 working days.
  • A person reviews it. Where it is well-founded, we remove or disable the content in Pixo and may restrict the account. Reports of a person's face used without consent are handled first.
  • We tell the account holder what we did, why, and how to object, and we tell you the outcome.
  • If the account holder believes the notice is mistaken (for example because they resell genuine goods), they can send a counter-notice with their reasons to the same address. We review it and may restore the content.
  • We keep a record of notices and decisions for 3 years.

Pixo stores product photos and the images it creates for its users; it does not publish them in shops or marketplaces. For content listed on a marketplace or website, please also contact that platform.

Repeat infringement

Accounts with two upheld notices are suspended. Serious cases — counterfeits, another person's face used without consent, or anything involving minors — may be suspended after a single notice.

AI-GENERATED IMAGES

About AI-generated images

Every photo Pixo delivers is created by artificial intelligence from your product photos. It is not a photograph of a real shoot, and the models shown are AI-generated, not real people — unless you used your own face.

  • Check accuracy. The AI follows your photos closely but can change small details such as stitching, text, logos or colour. Compare each photo with your product before you publish.
  • Marked as AI-generated. Files you download from Pixo are marked as AI-generated in their metadata: exported sizes carry the standard IPTC tag "trainedAlgorithmicMedia" (the one Google Merchant Center reads) and an AI note; original photos keep the content credentials (C2PA) added by the image provider. This follows the EU AI Act's marking rule. Don't remove this metadata before uploading to a marketplace.
  • Your duty to disclose. Some marketplaces and countries require you to say when product images are AI-generated. If a photo shows your own face, say it is AI-generated when you publish it.
  • Marketplaces. Amazon's main image must show the actual product accurately on pure white, without overlays — use the Pure White look and check the result. Etsy asks for original photos of the actual product in listings, so use Pixo photos there only where its rules allow (for example your own site, social posts or ads). Follow each marketplace's current image rules.
  • Real people. Don't use Pixo to create images of real, identifiable people other than yourself, or to suggest that a person endorses a product.
