Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and [Pixo Studio legal entity], [registered address, Switzerland] ("Pixo", "we"). By creating an account or using Pixo Studio you accept them.
1. What Pixo does
Pixo creates product photographs with artificial intelligence from photos and details you provide. Results are generated by an image model; they can differ from your real product and from one another.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and use Pixo for your business or personal projects.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One welcome grant of free tokens per person. Creating extra accounts to collect it again is not allowed.
3. What you upload
- You keep all rights to your product photos, logos, descriptions and any photo of yourself.
- You confirm you have the right to upload them, and that they don't infringe anyone's rights.
- You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you. We do not use your uploads or results to train AI models.
4. Your results
- Subject to these terms and to paying for them, you may use the photos you create for any lawful purpose, including commercially.
- AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright in every country, and similar images may be created for other users. We don't promise exclusivity.
- Check every photo before you publish it. You are responsible for how you use it, including that it represents your product accurately to your customers.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Pixo to create images that are illegal, sexual, hateful, violent, misleading about real people, or that copy someone else's brand, artwork or likeness without permission. Don't upload photos of other people's faces without their consent. We may refuse, remove results, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Tokens and refunds are explained in Tokens & refunds, which is part of these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Pixo available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change features; if we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in advance by email or in the app.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intent.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in settings. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Unused tokens on accounts closed for a breach are not refunded.
10. Law
Swiss law applies. Courts at [seat of the company] have jurisdiction, unless consumer law where you live gives you other rights.

Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run Pixo, under contract: image generation ([OpenAI]), hosting and storage ([providers]), payments ([Stripe]), email ([provider]). Some are outside Switzerland/the EU; we use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. We never sell your data.
AI and your data
Your uploads and results are sent to the image provider only to create your photos. We do not use them, and our contract does not allow the provider to use them, to train AI models.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent (for example for your face photo), and object to processing. Most of this is in settings; otherwise write to [privacy@…]. You can also complain to the Swiss FDPIC or your local EU data protection authority.
Tokens & refunds
Tokens
- One token pays for one finished photo. Branding a photo with your logo costs one more. Each extra product in a set adds one per photo.
- You see the exact cost before every shoot. Tokens are only spent for photos that actually come back; if a shoot fails or only part of it develops, you pay only for the photos you receive.
- Tokens are bought as one-off packs or an exact top-up. They don't expire while your account is open and have no cash value.
- Prices include VAT where it applies.
Refund requests for a photo
If a finished photo clearly misses (for example the product looks different, or there's an obvious defect), you can report it:
- within 14 days of the shoot,
- once per photo, up to 5 requests a month,
- when the product brief scored Good or better when you shot it (this shows on the Review screen before you shoot).
A person on our team reviews every request. If it's approved, the tokens for that photo go back to your balance. Retakes of that photo are paused while the request is open. You can appeal a decision once.
Refunds of purchases
Because tokens are digital content you can use straight away, purchases are final once tokens have been used. Unused tokens from a purchase can be refunded to your payment method within [14] days of buying them. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
About AI-generated images
Every photo Pixo delivers is created by artificial intelligence from your product photos. It is not a photograph of a real shoot, and the models shown are not real people (unless you uploaded your own face).
- Check accuracy. The AI follows your photos closely but can change small details such as stitching, text or colour. Compare each photo with your product before you publish.
- Disclosure. Some marketplaces and countries require you to say when product images are AI-generated. Exported files carry a note in their metadata [and C2PA content credentials, if adopted].
- Real people. Don't use Pixo to create images of real, identifiable people other than yourself, or to suggest that a person endorses a product.
